“It's just that time of year when we push ourselves ahead, we push ourselves ahead.”
I was so lucky this week to stumble across a live facebook concert from one of my favorite folk singers. I sat on one end of the couch in the living room with my laptop open, and Janyce was on the other end working on a spreadsheet. It was early evening but already it was dark outside. Damp air was wafting in from the open window, autumn air.
It’s coming. The most beautiful season.
The concert made me incredibly happy for a while, happy to be connected to other people this way, and to watch their words scrolling by in the chat. It also made me incredibly sad. This is where we are now.
I’m grateful to all of you who read my blog every Saturday. Thank you. I’ll be back next week.
